1.) Where did you meet?

I found his website and emailed him, and after chatting for a few months, we met up at a gaming LAN in my hometown.  Geek love <3

 

2.) Who introduced you?

I introduced me, haha!

 

3.) What was the first thought that went through your head when you met?

That he wasn't as geeky looking as his pic.

 

4.) Do you remember what he/she was wearing?

Not really, but I can guess: black sweatshirt & cargo pants.  Pretty sure his entire wardrobe at the time consisted of t-shirts, sweaters and cargo pants.

 

5.) Where was the first place you kissed this person?

Kuirau Park!

 

6.) How long did you know this person before you became a couple?

Five months or so.

 

7.) How did he/she ask you out?

After walking me home one night, he asked if I thought long distance relationships could work, then asked me to try! 

 

8.) Do you have kids with this person?

No, not yet and possible not ever (long, complicated story).

 

9.) Have you ever broken the law with this person?

Err, yes.  Nothing terribly serious, however!

 

10.) When was the first time you realized that you really liked this person?

Liked?  After his first email.  Loved?  After we moved in together.

 

11.) Do you get along with his/her family?

I adore them (and we usually get along fine, except for the time when I killed his Dad's WoW character in an arena!)

 

12.) Do you trust this person?

More than anyone else in the world, but even so, that trust has limits (I know his quirks and flaws, and work around them; one of which is keeping secrets!).  But yes, in general, and about important stuff, I do trust him.

 

13.) Do you see her/him as your partner in the future?

Yeeeees, we're planning to get married.  But it's not going to be an easy partnership, so here's hoping!

 

14.) What is the best gift she/he gave you? 

My engagement ring, because it's exactly what I'd have chosen, and he picked it all by himself!  It's nice when we're in sync about stuff. 

 

15.) How long have you been with this person?

Since June 2000.

Better than he knows himself.

 

17.) What features attracted you to them first?

His hands.

 

18.) Hair colour?

Black, but with a fair bit of grey now (he blames me for that!)

Let?  Um, I guess if I asked, he would.

Not to sleep in, but I do have an old one that I wear around the house on lazy days.

Oh yes.

 

22.) Does she/he have any piercings?

Just his left earlobe.

 

23.) Does she/he have any scars that you know of? 

Quite a few (he likes things that go boom and things that need fixing).  There's a biggy on one of his hands from when he was carving a pendant, one on his chest from a firework that got caught in his shirt, etc.

 

24.) Is she/he Outgoing or Shy?

Shy when he's out of his comfort zone, but very outgoing around friends, family, clients, co-workers etc.

Badly. :P

 

26.) Do you like her/his friends?

Most of 'em!  He's a bit of a people-magnet, but generally they're good people!  We have a lot of mutual friends.

No, but he'd like one.

 

28.) Does she/he look like their mom?

No.  She's tiny and tawny, he's dark and brawny. :D

 

29.) Do you like her/his sisters/brothers?

Very much, especially his brother (who lives with us, in fact).  His sister is good fun too, but we don't hang out much.

 

30.) What is the most romantic date he has ever taken you on?

We haven't really "dated", but recently he did take me to a gorgeous local pub for dinner, and we had a little candle-lit table for two by the window, was lovely.

 

31.) Do you have any nicknames for each other? 

Yes.  Most of these are not repeatable in public!  However, we do call each other by our gaming names occasionally too.

 

32.) Do you live with this person?

Yep, and have done (off and on) since New Years 2001.

 

33.) Do you have any pets together?

At the moment, just our kitty, Neo.

In the car, fetching food and drink!
